1) Museum of Northern Arizona–Features the anthropology, biology, geology, and Fine Arts of the Colorado Plateau region.
2) Wupatki National Monument–Wupatki is the only known location in the Southwest where physical evidence from at least three archaeologically separate ancestral Puebloan cultures is found together in a number of archeological sites.

2) Grand Canyon River Outfitters Association -This page provides an overview of trip options available in Grand Canyon, links to area information, associations and lodging, human and natural history films, bibliographies and other sources, and information and updates on river management issues.

4) Grand Canyon River Runners Association–A non-profit group working to preserve public access to the Colorado River in Grand Canyon National Park for those who rely on the National Park Service's licensed professional outfitters. They seek to educate the public about Grand Canyon River access issues, and to promote the highest ideals of resource stewardship and conservation for the Colorado River corridor within the Grand Canyon. Consider becoming a member. Although the licensed river outfitters, like CanX, are recognized as a stakeholder in the ongoing river management changes, their voice has been discounted as being self-interested rather than as representing the general public (that's you) that we serve. It took the formation of GCRRA to get the perspective of the commercial river passenger heard. GCRRA was able to organize and gather a sufficient membership to become a legitimate key player in the public input process for the Colorado River Management Plan (CRMP). Your membership helps ensure that GCRRA maintains this important "seat at the table" when it comes to any future changes to recreational river rafting in Grand Canyon. Please join today!
