Kelly Williams

Kelly’s introduction to the Grand Canyon was in 2004 on a Prescott College, 10-day backpacking Wilderness Orientation Course. In the spring of 2006, she graduated with her BA in Environmental Studies from Prescott College and has been a raft guide ever since, in Colorado, West Virginia, Utah, Alaska and Arizona. She has also worked for the National Forest in Colorado, Grand Canyon National Park Fisheries department, and Prescott College. She returned to Grand Canyon to work for CanX in 2011 and has absolutely enjoyed working with her fellow guides and guests, to share as well as learn within the classroom of the Grand Canyon. Kelly has a passion for the outdoors, so when she is not in the Canyon you can find her on a trail, river, mountain, or rock somewhere in the Southwest. Currently, Kelly is in the Paralegal Program at Yavapai College and is looking forward to graduating in Spring 2017.
